The Eastside Angels are committed to continue support to Washington Women In Need (WWIN). WWIN strives to improve the quality of women's lives by supporting their educational goals; we improve the quality of their lives by helping them maintain their physical and mental health. We work to improve the quality of their lives by treating them with dignity and respect in all their encounters with staff, volunteers, and Board members.

As of March 2010, WWIN has provided financial assistance in these four areas to over 4,700 low income women. This life-changing support is made possible through the vision and generosity of our founder, Julia Pritt, and the donations of individuals, businesses, corporations, foundations, and other service organizations.

WWIN receives no federal or state government funding for its programs. It charges no fee for services. 100% of your donation goes directly to provide grants for low income women, as all admistrative costs are covered by generous donor support.

We are happy this year to donate to Children's Response Center. This is a program of Harborview Medical Center that provides services and support for children and youth under the age of 18 who have experienced sexual assault or other traumatic events.

Services are also available for non-offending family members and children and youth who display sexual behavior problems. Children's Response Center serves residents in East and North King County.



The Eastside Angels are committed to raising money to support the Uncompensated Care Fund for Children’s Hospital & Regional Medical Center.

Ranked as one of the best children's hospitals in the country by U.S. News & World Report and Child magazines, Children’s Hospital & Regional Medical Center serves as the pediatric referral center for Washington, Alaska, Montana and Idaho.

Children’s Hospital never turns away a sick child and never allows a child’s illness to bankrupt a family. This is why Children’s relies heavily on the Uncompensated Care Fund. This fund covers families with no insurance or when insurance coverage doesn’t fulfill the cost of the child’s medical care.
